1. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Fidden empowers service providers to set and enforce cancellation and no-show policies. By booking through the platform, clients agree to the provider’s selected cancellation terms and authorize any applicable charges. Clients may be charged under the following circumstances:

  • No-show: 100% of the service fee may be charged
  • Late cancellation (within 12–24 hours): 50–100% of the service fee may be charged
  • Early cancellation (more than 24 hours): No charge

Fidden uses Stripe to securely store client payment information. In the event of a no-show or late cancellation, the provider may authorize Fidden to initiate a charge per their configured policy. All clients must acknowledge and consent to these terms at the time of booking.

2. Credit Card Authorization

To confirm appointments, clients are required to enter a valid payment method. By submitting payment details, clients authorize Fidden and the respective service provider to charge their card in accordance with the provider's cancellation and no-show policy.

3. Terms of Use (TOS)

By using Fidden, service providers and clients agree to abide by our platform terms. Fidden acts as a booking and business enablement platform. All service contracts are formed directly between clients and providers. Fidden is not liable for disputes arising from services rendered or missed appointments.

Providers are responsible for setting their own rates, policies, and availability. Clients are responsible for reading and understanding these policies before confirming a booking. Disputes may be handled within the platform through documentation, but legal accountability rests with the parties involved.

4. Privacy & Data Security

Fidden collects only the data necessary to provide its services: contact information, appointment details, client notes, and secure payment information. We use Stripe for PCI-compliant payment processing and do not store full card details on our servers.

All user data is protected in accordance with applicable privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA. We do not sell or share personal data without consent.

5. Age Verification for Tattoo Services

Fidden requires tattoo artists to verify client age before performing services. Clients booking tattoo appointments must upload a valid government-issued ID for verification. This requirement is enforced to ensure legal compliance with age restrictions and minimize liability for both Fidden and its providers.

Fidden stores ID verification status (not the ID image itself) as proof of due diligence. Tattoo providers may deny service if age cannot be verified. This process is critical for compliance with state and local laws governing body art services.

6. Limitation of Liability

Fidden is not liable for the performance, safety, legality, or outcomes of services booked through the platform. All service delivery, client communication, and post-service issues are the sole responsibility of the provider.

Fidden may assist in resolving disputes through support or documentation but holds no legal responsibility beyond that of a technology service provider.
