On its standard terms, StyleSeat charges $35 a month plus 2.5% + 30¢ per card payment at best, and its optional New Client Connection takes up to 30% of a new client's first visit. Fidden charges standard card rates on every plan, 2.7% + 15¢ by Tap to Pay, and its free plan adds 7% of the service per booking, with no new-client fee on any plan. StyleSeat is also running a cheaper offer for new pros, and this page shows both.

What A Month Costs
The plan price plus every percentage and per-payment fee each plan charges, on card payments for services, with StyleSeat's optional fees turned off. StyleSeat's standard plan is shown at its lowest standard card rate, Tap to Pay; Fidden at its own Tap to Pay rate, 2.7% + 15¢. Per-payment fees assume a $75 average service. Tips are left out of every figure.

While a book is light, Fidden Foundation costs the least: below about $210 a month it costs less than every StyleSeat version, and below about $500 less than StyleSeat's standard plan. Past that, its 7% commission makes it the most expensive line in the table.
For a steady book, StyleSeat's standard plan costs less than Fidden Momentum, by $4.99 a month at $5,000 in bookings and $4.99 at $10,000: the two card rates come to about the same, and StyleSeat's monthly price is lower.
StyleSeat's new-pro offer costs less still, at $199 a year with 1.9% processing, which its pricing page says lasts 6 months. The offer page names no per-payment fee, so none is counted here, which flatters the offer if one applies.
What StyleSeat Takes From A Booking
No single percentage answers it, because two of StyleSeat's fees are optional and only apply to some bookings. New Client Connection takes 30% of a new client's first appointment, up to $50, when StyleSeat's marketplace sends you that client: on a $120 first visit, that is $36, before processing. Smart Pricing takes 5.5% of the service price, up to $16.50, on the bookings it reprices.
Those figures are from StyleSeat's cost guide. The bill example on its current pricing page works out to 10% for New Client Connection instead, so check your own statement.
Fidden charges nothing extra for a new client. Momentum and Icon take no commission on any booking; Foundation takes its 7% on every booking, new or returning, so a $120 first visit costs $8.40 there against $36 in New Client Connection.
This compares fees, not features. StyleSeat's plan includes its consumer marketplace. Fidden's plans add Fidda, its AI business partner, with deposits at booking on every plan and no booking fee for your clients.

Which Is Right For You
- If you book under about $500 a month, Fidden Foundation costs less than StyleSeat: it has no monthly fee, and its 7% is taken only from bookings you have made.
- On a steady book, StyleSeat costs less: $4.99 a month less than Fidden Momentum at $5,000 in bookings, and $4.99 at $10,000, on plan price and card fees.
- Where StyleSeat charges for a new client, each one costs you $22.50 on a $75 first visit. Fidden Momentum and Icon charge nothing extra, so from about 1 such client a month at $5,000, Momentum costs less.
- StyleSeat lists you in its consumer marketplace, where new clients can find you. Fidden has no marketplace: new clients come from wherever you send them.
