Hair Stylists

The Truth

Your color clients are your economy, and one ghosted retouch appointment costs more than a week of trims. Long services mean every empty slot is expensive — and every no-show is a crater.

What Fidda Does

Fidda protects long-format bookings with deposits sized to the service, tracks retouch and treatment cycles per client, and fills sudden cancellations by offering the slot to clients due for exactly that service length.

How Fidden Works For Hair Stylists

Long services are paid for at booking, prepared for before the client sits down, and refilled when someone drops out.

Deposits Sized To The Chair Time

Every service carries its own deposit, taken when the client books, on every plan including the free one. Set it as a percentage of the price or a fixed amount, or switch it off for a fringe trim, so a five-hour color correction is held by money that matches the hours. The balance is taken at the chair with Tap to Pay, or by card.

A Hair Intake Before The First Visit

The first time a client books with you, Fidden asks what a stylist needs to know: hair type and texture, porosity, chemical history, when it was last colored, the products they use, scalp conditions and allergies, alongside a health disclosure. They answer once, and you can correct any of it yourself, so an allergy mentioned mid-service is on file before they leave.

Prep Notes For The Day Ahead

Prep Notes lists everyone booked in today, first appointment first, with their hair profile, the newest note you wrote about them and anything they added to the booking. A client with an allergy on file is named on your Today screen, so it is read before the color is mixed.

Cancellations Offered To The Right Client

When a slot opens, Fidda ranks your clients for it: who has booked that service before, who visits most, and who reliably turns up, skipping anyone already booked. It drafts the offer, and by default you approve it before anything sends.

Regulars Caught Before They Drift

Fidda learns each client's own rhythm from the visits they have actually made. When a regular is past theirs with nothing booked, your morning briefing names them and what they are worth to you, and Fidda drafts a message to bring them back.

Rebook Rate Every Morning

Your Today screen opens on this week's takings, today's bookings, your rating and your rebook rate, so the number that says whether color clients come back is the first thing you see.

Common Questions

Can I take a deposit on a five-hour color service?

Yes, and on every plan including the free one. Deposits are collected at booking and the amount is set per service, so a full color correction can hold a deposit sized to the chair time it takes rather than the same token amount as a fringe trim.

What happens when a color client cancels the night before?

Fidda finds the clients who are due for a service of that length and drafts the offer that fills the slot. By default you approve it before anything sends, so the chair is refilled without you texting round the whole book at ten at night.

What does the hair intake ask?

Hair type and texture, porosity, chemical history, when the client was last colored, the products they use, scalp conditions and allergies, alongside a health disclosure. It is asked the first time they book with you, and you can correct any of it yourself.

Does Fidden track retouch and toner cycles?

Yes, per client, from the services they have actually booked rather than a reminder you set by hand. When someone comes due, they are the first person Fidda offers a cancelled slot to.

What does Fidden cost a hair stylist?

Foundation is free and takes 7% of the service per booking. Momentum is $39.99 a month and Icon is $89.99 a month, with no booking commission or Fidden platform fee. Standard card processing applies on every plan. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees.

When does Fidda start working my book?

At five completed bookings. Fidda needs a real history of your services, your prices and your clients before it says anything about them, so it stays quiet until it has one.
