The plan price plus every percentage and per-payment fee each plan charges, on card payments for services taken in person, for one provider. Vagaro is shown at its in-person rate, its lowest, on Small Merchant terms up to $4,000 a month and above it on Large Merchant terms, with their $10 subscription; Fidden at its Tap to Pay rate, 2.7% + 15¢. Deposits And Cards On File
Vagaro charges its keyed-in rate, 3.5% + 19¢, on every payment taken without the card in front of you: deposits at booking, charges to a card on file, and services paid online. Fidden charges its standard online rate on those, 2.9% + 30¢.
On a $30 deposit, Vagaro takes $1.24 and Fidden's processing $1.17. On a $75 service paid online, Vagaro takes $2.82 and Fidden's processing $2.48. If every payment in a $5,000 month came in that way, Vagaro would cost $227.67, against $204.99 on Fidden Momentum.

- If you book under about $420 a month, Fidden Foundation costs less than Vagaro: it has no monthly fee, and its 7% is taken only from bookings you have made.
- On a steady book, Vagaro costs less: $17.82 a month less than Fidden Momentum at $5,000 in bookings, and $35.66 at $10,000, on plan price and card fees.
- Vagaro lists you in its consumer marketplace, where new clients can find you. Fidden has no marketplace: new clients come from wherever you send them.
