Tattoo Artists

The Truth

You're doing consults for free and getting ghosted on deposits. Custom work means hours invested before a needle moves — and every flake burns design time you never bill.

What Fidda Does

Fidda enforces deposits at booking, confirms multi-session projects across their full arc, follows up on healed work at exactly the right interval, and offers a cancelled slot to the clients most likely to book it, so a cancellation becomes the next client's good news.

How Fidden Works For Tattoo Artists

Custom work gets paid for before it starts, signed for before the needle moves, and followed through to the last session.

Deposits Before Design Time

Every service carries its own deposit, collected when the client books, on every plan including the free one. A consult can hold a small one, a custom half-sleeve a larger one and a full-day session the most, so the hours you put into a design are paid for before you draw a line. The balance is taken at the chair with Tap to Pay on iPhone, or by card.

Waivers Signed Before The Session

Clients sign your waiver in the Fidden app before they arrive, in your own wording or Fidden's tattoo default. A signature only counts for the waiver you are using today, so when you change the wording, everyone signs the new version. On the day, your Today screen lists every tattoo client still to sign, so nobody reaches the chair without one.

ID Checks For 18+ Work

Mark a service 18+ and Fidden checks every client booked for it against the date of birth on their intake. Anyone it cannot prove is an adult, including anyone who left the date blank, lands on that day's ID check list. Fidden tells you whose ID to look at. Looking at it is still yours.

An Intake That Asks Tattoo Questions

Before their first appointment with you, a client answers the questions only a tattoo artist asks: date of birth, whether it is their first tattoo, the work they already have, where they want this piece, and any history of keloids, scarring, fainting, blood thinners or skin conditions. It all sits on their profile with their health disclosure, beside placement and skin notes of your own.

Flash And Custom Work, Shown Apart

Your flash and custom concepts get their own Designs section on your shop page, separate from your portfolio of finished work. A client looking for something to book finds it without scrolling past proof of skill, and a client checking your skill is not wading through flash.

Big Pieces Finished, Not Stalled

Fidda confirms multi-session projects across their full arc, from the first sitting to the last, and follows up on healed work at the interval that suits it. When someone cancels, Fidda offers the slot to the clients most likely to book it, so a gap in the book becomes the next client's good news instead of a lost day.

Common Questions

Can I take a deposit before I start a custom design?

Yes, on every plan including the free one. Deposits are collected at booking and the amount is set per service, so a consult or a custom piece is backed by money on the table before you put hours into the design.

Does Fidden handle multi-session tattoos?

Yes. Fidda confirms multi-session projects across their full arc, from the first sitting to the last, and follows up on healed work at the right interval, so a large piece does not stall halfway.

What happens when a tattoo client cancels?

Fidda offers the open slot to the clients most likely to book it, so a cancellation becomes the next client's good news instead of a lost day in the chair.

Can clients sign a tattoo waiver in the app?

Yes. Clients sign your waiver in the Fidden app before their appointment, in your own wording or Fidden's tattoo default. Changing the wording asks everyone to sign the new version, and your Today screen lists anyone booked who has not.

How does Fidden check a client is 18?

Mark a service 18+ and Fidden compares each client's date of birth from their intake with the day of the appointment. Anyone it cannot prove is 18, including anyone with no date on file, is flagged for an ID check. Checking the ID itself is still yours.

What does the tattoo intake ask?

Date of birth, whether it is the client's first tattoo, the work they already have, where they want this piece, and any history of keloids or scarring, fainting, blood thinners or skin conditions, alongside a health disclosure covering conditions, medications, allergies and pregnancy.

What does Fidden cost a tattoo artist?

Foundation is free and takes 7% of the service per booking. Momentum is $39.99 a month and Icon is $89.99 a month, with no booking commission or Fidden platform fee. Standard card processing applies on every plan. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees.

When does Fidda start working my book?

At five completed bookings. Fidda needs a real history of your services, your prices and your clients before it says anything about them, so it stays quiet until it has one.
