Common Questions
How does the calculator work out each app's monthly cost?
It adds the plan price, the card processing on your bookings and any booking commission, then the new-client fees an app charges on the marketplace clients you enter. Each app is priced at its lowest in-person card rate on the plan named, from its own pricing page, on the dates its fee comparison prints. Tips are left out, and Fidden Foundation's commission never applies to them.
Why does the average service price change the result?
Several apps charge a fixed amount on every payment as well as a percentage, such as 10¢ or 30¢. The lower your average service, the more payments make up a month, and the more those fixed amounts add up.
Which apps charge for new clients?
Booksy's Boost and StyleSeat's New Client Connection take a share of a new client's first visit when you turn them on, and Fresha takes one on a new client who finds you through its marketplace. Fidden's Momentum and Icon plans charge nothing extra for a new client, and Foundation's commission is the same on every booking.
