Deleting your account is permanent. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore it afterwards. Sign in below to do it here, or do it in the app if you still have it installed.

Open Fidden and sign in.
Go to Profile.
Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account".
Read what will be removed, then tap "Delete my account" and confirm.

The steps are the same on iPhone and Android. Deletion happens straight away and you are signed out on every device. If you signed in with Apple, the app confirms with Apple first so it can disconnect it, which is the one thing this page can't do for you.

What gets deleted

Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
Your password, and any Apple or Google sign-in linked to the account.
Your devices, push tokens and notification history.
Your saved shops and your service wishlist.
Your payment profile with our payment processor, including any saved cards.
Your upcoming appointments, which are cancelled before anything else is touched. As a client, deposits are refunded under each shop's own policy. As a shop owner, every upcoming booking at your shop is cancelled and those clients are refunded in full.
Your shop, if you run one, along with its subscription.

What is kept, and why

Past bookings, payments, reviews, chat messages and loyalty history.
Records the law or an open dispute requires us to keep, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Fidden sits between two people, so the records of what happened between you and a shop belong to them as much as to you. Those stay, attached to the account as Deleted User with nothing left in them that identifies you. It is what lets a shop keep its own books straight, and what keeps a review honest.

Once the account is deleted you cannot sign in again. The email address is released, so you can register a fresh account with it later if you decide to come back. For the full picture of what we hold and for how long, read the Privacy Policy.
